Traffic Regulation Order: South Boroughs, Arlen Hill
Overview
Three Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) are being proposed in the South Boroughs area of Arlen Hill which aim to increase the number of available parking spaces.
Arlen Hill's Council’s Community Safety and Engagement Team has worked with groups in the South Boroughs area of Arlen Hill to consider changes to Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs).
This has resulted in a number of proposals which aim to increase the number of parking spaces that are available while ensuring that restrictions are both legal and enforceable:
- SB01: Castle Hill / Chalk Lane
- SB02: Bath Street, Chalk Lane, Fort Place, Herbert Street, Little Cross Street, Lower Cross Street, Moat Place, Upper Cross Street and Spring Lane
- SB03: Crispin Street
Please consider the proposals and share your views with us. You can respond to all three TROs or just one or two of them.
Proposals which are supported by more than half of those who respond will be further assessed as part of Arlen Hill Highways’ Annual Parking Review Process (in August, date TBC). This process includes consultation with the public, stakeholders and councillors, and allows all parties the opportunity to object before any amendments are made or ground works started.
